How to Grant Your Agency Access to Your Facebook Page and Ad Account

To make this process smooth, you can securely grant access to your Facebook Page, Ad Account, and Instagram using Meta Business Suite. Here’s a step-by-step guide to get started:

1. Set Up Meta Business Suite (If You Haven’t Already)

1. Visit business.facebook.com.
2. Log in with your Facebook credentials.
3. Follow the prompts to set up Meta Business Suite for your business.
   • If you’ve already set this up, you can skip this step.

2. Add Your Facebook Page to Meta Business Suite

1. In Meta Business Suite, go to “Business Settings”.
2. On the left-hand menu, click “Accounts” > “Pages”.
3. Click the “Add” button.
   • Choose “Add a Page” if you own the page.
   • Select “Request Access” if the page is managed by someone else.
4. Follow the prompts to confirm your page is added.

3. Add Your Ad Account for Advertising

1. In Business Settings, navigate to “Accounts” > “Ad Accounts”.
2. Click “Add” and choose one of the following:
   • “Add an Ad Account”: If you already have an existing ad account.
   • “Create a New Ad Account”: If you don’t have one yet.
3. Complete the setup as prompted.

4. Connect Your Instagram Account to Meta Business Suite

To enable access for Instagram posting and ads:

1. Go to “Business Settings” in Meta Business Suite.
2. On the left-hand menu, click “Accounts” > “Instagram Accounts”.
3. Click the “Add” button.
4. Log in with your Instagram username and password.
5. Follow the prompts to connect your Instagram account.
   • Make sure your Instagram account is a Professional Account (Business or Creator). If not, you can switch in the Instagram app under Settings > Account > Switch to Professional Account.

Grant Access to Your Page (For Organic Posting):

1. In Business Settings, click on “People”.
2. Click the “Add People” button.
3. Enter your agency’s business email address: [Your Agency Email Address].
4. Assign the appropriate role:
   • Content Creator: Allows your agency to create and schedule posts.
   • Editor: Provides more control, including managing comments and insights.

Grant Access to Your Ad Account (For Advertising):

1. Go to “Ad Accounts” under Accounts.
2. Click “Assign Partners”.
3. Select the option to add via Business ID.
4. Contact us directly, and we will securely share our Business Manager ID with you.
5. Assign the role of Ad Account Advertiser (for managing ads) or Ad Account Admin (to manage billing and settings).

Grant Access to Instagram:

Once your Instagram account is connected to Meta Business Suite:

1. Go to “Instagram Accounts” in Business Settings.
2. Click on the connected Instagram account.
3. Click “Assign Partners”.
4. Add your agency’s Business Manager ID (provided privately. Contact us for our KGY Digital Business Manager ID).
5. Confirm and save the settings.

6. Final Step: Confirm and Accept

Once you’ve completed the steps above, your agency will receive an invitation to access your Page, Ad Account, and Instagram. They’ll accept the invitation, and you’re good to go!
